I would think that their immune systems are the only thing that weakens after awhile, which is probably why most don't live to old age.

Don't worry, The pool was less than a foot deep, and it's called a shower.

When I first got Kingler and Killer, I would put them in one of those plastic kiddie pools and I would get in as well. They used me as their basking spot and were actually not scared!
