$20 for 4L of bio rings. This is enough to fill a FX5 filter for $20.

He's got almost 99% positive feedback and it's only 20 bucks. Use paypal and you'll buy yourself a little safety.

Almost all of his very few negative comments are about defective products specifically light bulbs or bulkheads. I don't know how you could have defective biomedia.

A FX5 for $180, $20 in bio media, $8 in Purigen, and a $2 filter bag gives you a fully loaded fully renewable FX5 for $210 plus shipping. That's a VERY hard to beat deal if you have a large tank.

I finally got around to purchasing this media for another project I'm working on. I can tell you first hand the media is good, but it needs to be rinsed. I think from the shipping theres some grinding and a little powder. The shipping was quick but I did not receive the 2 media bags as advertised in the deal. Has anyone else that has ordered this media gotten the media bags? It's not a big deal media bags are cheap, but if the seller advertises them they should come with.

I didn't get the bags either but there was no mention of any when I got it.

I sent the seller a message yesterday and got a reply today. He offered a $2 credit or was willing to send the bags. I replied saying "Thanks, your quick response and willingness to correct the issue was good enough." Still a great price for a large quantity of media even without the bags.
