Yes you did leave a comment on shedding Moose, but I forgot which page.

For Kame...yes! I don't know why, all her scutes fell out one by one in a good shape and thick. MAYBE it is because of her pyramiding. she was fed wrongly with high protein before I found this forum. And after that she eats healthier food.

She has never shed any of her scute before I gave her the right food. So, Maybe, all the scutes that have sticked together finally shed at the same time now....Once again, it's a 'maybe' theory.

Should I ask this on general discussion?

Kroten has different kind of shedding, she shed thinner scutes and layer by layer.

Okay, I'll do it as soon as I have time to use a PC (currently browsing with my mobile and so difficult to post pics)

But so far, no one said anything about Kame's shedding...so I am assuming that it's just fine.

lol Kroten is also taking forever!!

I'll check your pic on sunday, that's my free time and I can find a PC to browse :)

Aw your turtles are adorable :D. I wish I can take my turtles out for walks, sounds fun, too dangerous here though, I might try in the backyard.

Wow! Kame's new shell is beautiful, such a vibrant color! Glad to hear they are doing well. I can't wait for my babies to shed, but they are still little so I have while to wait.

@MaggieCheco Thank you :) My front yard is also dangerous, but I keep my eyes on them everywhere.

@Biteybits yeah, isn't it beautiful? I never thought she would shed and make a better shell pattern and color.

That's cool, I'm going to try making a cardboard fence in the backyard xD it's too crazy to watch three turtles

I understand that problem ;) watching 2 turtles is hard, 3 turtles will make it harder. You can always do it in turns.

My turtles don't like closed place, if I give them a cardboard fence, they will try to climb it

Yeah mine too, hmmm... I guess I'll use the cardboard so they can have some sun but stay safe together and let them roam around in turns

I used a cardboard fence for a few years. It works very well (and can nicely fold up) but it's not good in windy or wet conditions. My RES were pretty good at escaping, usually flattening the grass and sliding under.

@Maggy yeah I also that's a good plan :)

@Steve is Kame's shedding looks alright to you? Moose was a bit surprise that Kame sheds thick scutes. Is it a usual thing or not?

It was probably more than one layer, so it's thicker. I've had my share of retained scutes, and I think Kame looks very good.

Thank you steve :) I also think because she had retained her scutes (my mistake for giving her wrong diet). But I just want to be sure.

she need to shed 6 more scutes...and then I can show you her 'new look' :) today she had shed 7 scutes.
