@Coveyvht haha no Kroten is not a girl's name so is Kame. Both of my turtle's names are taken from other language

Kame is turtle in Japanese
Kroten comes from schildkroten which means turles in German...I want them to have same 1st letter so I cut schildkroten into Kroten

@CaseFam Thanks :) I was lucky, never thought she would turn out to look so yellow.

@Azfar Thx :)
Hahaha rockclimbing!! that sport is supossed to be for Kame. Kroten looks beautiful under the sun, the sun brought all her color out

Yeaaa new plastron :)

Cool. The bottom ones look so black compared to the ones on top that have shed a layer.

@Moose thx :) my student saw the picture and she said the patern looks like a work of art....it is indeed God's work of art.

@worldpeace yeah isn't it cool. This is Kame's 1st shedding time so I really enjoy it and fascinated to see how the color and the patern change on the second layer.

This morning I saw a loose scute on top of her head...waiting anxiously for that to peel off

Whuaaa I'm so excited!! at the same time I write this reply, I saw 3 more scutes peeled off :) it's on left side. The patern is clearer than her previous scute.

Ow I must have missed your turtle's picture :( I tried to look at all post in here tho I don't comment all the time. I'll search for it tomorrow (right now I'm using my cellphone).

Does he eat cuttlebone? Kame used to only eat meat...but I sort of force her to eat all kind of veggie and cuttlebone.

You can 'force' your turtle too by NOT giving her food but you what you want him to eat.

Who will win the rest?
