I've joined another forum....and they can show youtube video by writing it like this >.>

I wonder why we can't do that here?? it will be awesome if we can do that and make a sticky post for all member's videos...you know kinda like this thread but for video only

I use similar tags on my site. Alot of forums block such tags for various reasons, not sure why they do it here though.

Even is such a feature were ever implemented it would be best suited for this thread instead of a new one.

Yes this thread will suit too :)

Maybe one the administrators will read this and consider using that tag ;)

That would be nice but that would ultimately be Steve's decision since he owns / runs the site.

Sorry for the late response... the forum doesn't support it, it's not my choice. That is until the next upgrade.

So how long to you move over to SMF ?

Assuming thats the new software you've chosen.

Was going to do a test run, but then I saw all this bickering on the site with the people who run/contribute to SMF. I thought PHPBB3 took forever to come out and when it did, it was such a resource hog. Who knows when SMF2 will come. I might go the paid route, VB or IPS... though there were some nice SMF mods I was working on :(

Why not just use the RC of SMF on a test site, the RC's generally dont run much differently then the final version.

Edit: RC = Release Candidate
