Okay, the ATBA still hasn't been built, but my goal of having a low maintenance environment has certainly been met. This is 9 1/2 months later without any maintenance except for feeding, the occasional cleaning of the glass above the waterline and adding 5 gallons of water every couple weeks and replacing the basking bulbs (both the UVA halogen (once) and the ReptiGlo 5.0 UVB (twice)). Jordtim has rearranged the sand and decorations a bit, but I haven't touched the filter yet.

Still looks crystal clear, and the levels are still right where they should be, Ammonia 0, Nitrites 0, Nitrates 50.

Jordtim is growing nicely, shell is still very smooth and clear of blemishes.

The tank looks great, I think it's fine without an ATBA.
