Looks very nice, you did a great job on the tank. How far away is that UVB light?

The distance between the UVB-lamp and the floor of the basking area is 44cm.

Then it could be a little closer. Maybe have the bulb roughly 10-12" (25-30cm) away from the main basking area.

Hello friends

I have a small problem in my new tank, my turtle is afraid to go up the area for basking. It is only in the submerged ramp to head out of the water looking for the bulbs. I've tried putting food on the basking area. She climbs the ramp all frightened, grabs the food and rushes into the water again. :?
Can anyone help me?

Note: Since the correct height of UV-B. Now the lamps UV-B and UV-A are 22cm from the basking area.

Move the basking lamp closer to the ramp... let the warmth entice him. Also, leave some food up there and make sure he knows he has to go up there to get it.
