Very nice!

BTW: I'm assuming you know you want a less powerful UVB light for this guy, since he absorbs it much easier than other turtles.

distance is key when it comes to uvb i would never recommend downgrading a bulb but rather provide hiding places or shelters from the light or just moving it further back simply because even MVB dont come close to what the sun can provide even at the 30th parallel.

i personally will only buy the 10.0 flouros. i would buy the arcadias they just came out with except they seem to think people are really gonna pay those prices, im not 2% doesnt mean enough to me.

thanks for the advice! and we will post some more pictures when we get a chance! at the moment feeding is our biggest hurdle, the little guy just misses the food most of the time because he cant judge the distance. he's learning though and seems to be very happy

haha yeah a little bit. i know their vision is pretty bad as hatchlings but it should improve a little bit over time. he needs to get familiar with his new tank and then i think he'll be just fine

actually albinos have poor eye site their whole life. There is a breeding project in place right now to try and fix the genetics for improved eye site with albino RES. A snow albino RES was hatch during this project.
