so we decided to go for the clown yellow bellied slider and she arrived today! i have to say she was much smaller than we expected (barely bigger than a quarter!) but she seems very happy and healthy and appears to love her new home. we decided to name her Blue! here's some pictures, enjoy!

Love the look of the clown. Unfortunately the wife thinks the two RES I have now are a waste of space, no chance of new little guys.

they arent a waste of space! and luckily my girlfriend loves the turtles just as much as me! but we probably wont be getting any new members in the family any time soon now haha

Keep a close eye on the deformity of the scutes as she grows.

thanks. what should i be keeping an eye out for? i have another turtle with split scutes but he seems to be doing quite well.

Sometimes as they grow they can become a problem and grow weird, but I don't know exactly how.

This is a really cool morph. I've never heard of clown morphs.

no actually i got it from macs morphs. not sure where he got them from though because i do know that he did not breed them
