i forgot that tuck is a red eared slider. i watched this with my cousin back in 2009. just this friday, we watched it again.

me:what's the episode?
lil cousin zerah: wonderpets join the circus.

after a few seconds.

me:wait. can we rewind it? i have to check something.
(we paused it and i took a screenshot)
me:what is that? what is that? (getting excited)
zerah: a turtle. tuck the turtle. you know turtles?
me: what?? tuck is a red eared slider? awesome!

after that i patiently explained to my cousin the similarities and differences between tuck the turtle and dumbork.

i have to break her heart and tell her that no, Dumbork cannot talk (and sing), and she can't wear a cape, hat, and shoes, either.

Suction cups? Or if nothing, above to waterline, tape works well.

i'm using suction cups that can hold the hard part (stalk?) of the lettuce. problem is, dumbork still manages to remove the veggie from the suction cup. thanks for the advice!
