Just recently starting showing the signs of my RES's being male and female. Do not yet know the sex of my older DBT...
Any who..... Just thought I would share my recent discoveries.
Here is my DBT as well.

My male RES is actually bigger than my female.... male is just under 4 inches measuring only the shell. The female is right over 3 inches.

What log is he using? I've only seen the floating ones.

I got it along with a tank at a yard sale. It seems to be a poppin place for my fish to rest.
Its just a hollow piece of hard plastic from what I can tell though.

Just a heads up about your dbt, they wont grow long nails on the front claws if they are male. You'll have to tell from their tail.
