i just got my new baby turtle in the mail ^^ its a beautiful female gold phase hypo translucent ,long name lol. i purchased this little gem from Macs Morphs ,this is my 1st buy from him and def wont be the last ,he's a good breeder to buy from if anyone is looking to get into morphs. the turtle came very healthy and active as expected ,ive heard good things in the past anyway i named her Mocha. fun fact ,these are actually a type of albino that were bred to have perfect vision and are also known as flip flops ,just recentley found that out a couple days before i got her i thought they were a type of hypo. i made a vid of her and ill post a pic as well let me know what u think

Remember, you may need to tune down the UVB for Albinos.

Unfortunetly they usually die young, that's why you don't see many adults.

Where are u getting ur facts from?! Lol they do not die young they're perfectly healthy morphs just like any other albino ,the only real turtle morph that has a tendency to have bad health are pastels or clown pastels and even then there are some healthy ones.

albinos are hypos, there just happens to be several different morphs that are also hypo. It gets confusing, hypomelanistic is just a fancy word for greatly reduced black pigmentation. basically, the animal should have little to no black pigment.
