well i was looking on craigslist for a bigger tank for my diamond backs and what do i see someone wanting too get rid of three yellow bellies. with tank filter lights and heater for free. sooooo i called to see what was up. not a thing she had them for a year and now wanted to get rid of them. well ok how big of a tank do you have them in? a 10 gallon because i wanted them to stay small. yep thats right wanted them to stay small. well i knew i needed to help them. so i drove 200 miles round trip tonight to go get them, the 10 gallon tank, the rock whisper water filter, small floating dock, and heat lamp. first thing i noticed was that 2 of them were about 3 in big the other about 1 1/2 in big. (all in a 10 gallon) the second thing was that 2 were res and one a ybs. so i get them home and think i will put the ybs and the bigger res in my 120 gallon tank. but nooooo flash my res said oooooh hell no you are not coming in here. he started nipping at both of them. so i had to clean the hell out of the 10 gallon to hold them over for the week til i get paid. then i will get them a 55 gallon to live happy in. although when they hit the water in my 120 it was like they were free. they looked sooo happy swimming in that deep water. but by next weekend they will be happy once again.here is a pic of the three of them. let me know what you all think. i know they have some scutes retaining. witch i hope the new uvb light and proper dite will fix.
i named them little one rain, the big res on the left crimson and the ybs on the right clover
this is crimson
