My Female Turtle(Named Sam/Samantha) Just Died. She Had A Brother Named Tiny And He Is Still Young. What Type Of Turtle Should I Get To Keep Him Company. Tiny's Size In Shell Length Is About 7 Inches And His Width Is About 5 Inches. Location: Delray Beach, Florida.

Sorry for your lost. Turtles , Tiny can live in solitude and be very happy ! Gives him more time with you instead of sharing time with another. Also another new turtle may have to be separated if aggressive to Tiny or Tiny to them.

Sorry to hear it. I agree, you can keep him alone. Male RES usually need to be separated from others anyway.

Thanks For The Advice But I Am Getting A Cooter.
They Will Be Separated At All Times Except For Cleaning Their Tanks, And For Taking Them Out On Walks.

Good luck! Keep in mind that cooters are usually much larger than RES.
