I know I always get some curious responses about when I talk about Sheba following me around, so I figured I would try to capture this on video. The first one illustrates that very well, complete with me calling her & snapping my fingers. I also figured I'd share the 2nd video because I just love the way she looks at me when she finally reaches me, like a little dog begging. So cute! SHE IS THE CUTEST THING EVER! I think Sheba needs to be the ambassador for full grown turtles. I think she's as cuter than a little tiny baby any day. I hope one of mine grows up to look just like her!

Watching the videos I realized that the picture you posted of her on another post doesn't do her justice. She is sooooooooo beautiful!!! You've done a great job with her!!!

Keep in mind you can all do this with your turtles too. Even the tiny ones (2") can be trained to be very comfortable around people. Just keep some little pieces of flaked tuna handy.....

Turbee, to answer your question, Sheba's shell is approx. 11 inches long. I'll have to post a picture with her next to a ruler or something (if I can get her to sit still for that long, LOL!).

that's quite big if u add its head n tail to it
didnt look that big on the video tho =)

She looks tiny in the video, but in the second one the size is a little easier to percieve, either way you look at it, she's a doll. If she's single let me know i'd marry her

Yes, I have had her for 17 yrs. She was 6 inches when I bought her from a local pet store. I estimate that it took her (maybe) 3-4 yrs to reach 6 inches long, well then, she is *probably* around 21 yrs old total (!).

My "baby" is old enough to drink! ::sniff, sniff::
