So like I was saying before the surprise fone call. I forgot to copy the stuff I already wrote so I'm gonna retype it. Toku's carapace is a light brown with reddish looking stripes at the end then turning yellowish towards the middle of the shell. I will be able to tell it better after this shed is complete. His plastron is turning more to a light tint of red with black blotches in ever scute. I'm really liking the way the patterns of the vertebral scutes are growing. They look like they connect all the way down his shell. At 3 yrs. old and 5 in. scl, I think he is about full grown but may get another inch.

Would really like to see some pics. Those black blotches on the plastron will likely get larger. Do RGs also become melanistic?

I will post pics of him with the tank build. From the pics I have seen of the adult RGs the colors and patterns seem to get more vibrant. Of course I will post updated pics of Toku as his ages;)
