Can you help ID this turtle?

This is a friend's turtle, Tyson. He was also found with the crawfish and *rescued*. He's a liiiiiitttle on the bite-y side.... we want to know what kind he is so we can better care for him and know what to expect. Gets along with my friend's slider so far. TIA

I'm leaning towards a Yellow Bellied Slider. I'm not an expert, though. Let's wait for the others.

I'm pretty sure that's some type of mud or musk turtle, probably an eastern mud turtle. Pretty handsome one at that! Congrats!

Yeah i would say mud turtle i see them all the time in are pond

Mississippi Mud turtle. Those two yellow lines going across the head make it a dead give away

Wc can be nippy like any wc turtle but cb are fine
