Hi guys, I saved this turtle from the local market.... It seems in rather bad shaped..judging from its shell condition.. and should be a rather old turtle.
Need help with identification!

Notice how this turtle is dark brownish (almost black)...on the arms/head/legs...
Really tough nut to crack :(

Looks like an Asian leaf turtle. The shell isn't too bad, though I would gently clean it up and inspect it carefully.

Pick up a new, soft toothbrush and some Hibclense or Betadine. Dilute some when doing a scrub and rinse well after.

Its nothing much bro! i saw this turtle in the wet market.. where people buy turtles for turtle soup :(
They normally only have res and soft shells there.. i chanced upon this fella and the seller said it was wild caught.. hence the condition :/
im planning to take care of it for a few weeks and release it into a reservoir..where poaching is illegal :D
