For real. I think Dave was feeding them guppies and krill only. They act like they've never seen turtle pellets before and I've tried reptomin broken up, wardleys broken up, and tuna soaked mazuri.

"they have been eating little guppies (I would give them freshly killed guppies) .... and they also like dried krill ... but it is also good to get them to eat Reptomin or other turtle food with vitamins".-Dave.

I'll give it another day and I'm gonna try the fresh fish.

Strange mine took to shrimp and baby reptomin right away? I would try some fish or even guppys? I can't help but wonder how many turtles Dave owns or sells for that matter.

I've wondered that myself. I saw where he was selling a group of 50 hatchlings, 2 groups of 10, and 5 trios all at once

Yeah, that's exactly how I feel. He has fantastic terrapins, but he needs a secretary or something. I actually found a breeder on Fauna that lives a couple hours away that breeds terrapins. He has his own website and whatnot.

Ripple didn't make it. He never would eat and I tried everything. He just couldn't open his eyes but a couple times and he would rub them immediately after.

So Dave says he'll send me a replacement in a few days. Hopefully that one will be healthy. Very true Kansas

I just told him how it was sickly and that it had died and he offered to send it. I was pretty surprised.
