They are tiny. How many and what kind did you buy? Mine ate the next morning. Hope yours will too.

It will be interesting to see how fast they grow compared to mine. Mine were the same size when I got them but that's no longer true.

See I think I could have a similar situation. One terrapin (pics 3&4) has eaten twice since they got here and the other one (pics 1&2) hasn't had a single bite. I think he had a rougher time in the mail. He was flipped over on his back when I opened the package so there's no telling how long he was like that. He's obviously alive and starting to perk up (he didn't open his eyes much til just a minute ago) but I can tell the other is far more advanced. He's explored much of the tank, he's already a pretty fantastic swimmer, and moves WAY faster on land. The bigger one is Lucky?

Yes the bigger one lucky is all over the tank chasing fish. The small one (spots) sleeps a lot but eats like a little pig.

I named the active one Phil and the sleepy one Ripple. They're really fun. Haven't had a hatchling in so long. I want to get a concentric eventually. I can foresee a stock tank in my future

Ripple still hasn't eaten. He's more active today, seemed somewhat interested in the cuttle bone but he ignores pellets, krill, and shrimp. I even tried soaking the pellets in tuna water to no avail. Any suggestions? I've pretty much avoided trying feeder fish yet because I don't want to introduce a possibly sick fish to a weak turtle. I'm not too worried, he used the bathroom today, so at least he was digesting something. Phil is a pig though. Very active little turtle. Loves to bask, loves to swim and so far pretty fearless.

For some reason people have been having problems with hatchlings eating? You could try some fresh fish. I mean the kind you would buy at the supermarket.
