I also say "cute" with an "s" at the beginning, however, I'm not a native English speaker

I never talk about turtles to anyone but I would pronounce it as "scoot".

LOL, this made me laugh. It goes along with the mystery of Steve. "He doesn't post pictures... he doesn't talk about turtles" lol. Now that I think about it, I don't think I've ever said the word out loud either.
