Hey!
I have three tanks with one RES in each one. I'm thinking of getting a cat and wanted to know if this is a bad idea in terms of it hurting the turts or the cat catching a disease or something. My RES's tanks are in my bedroom and I envision my cat sleeping with me at night. Any thoughts?

As long as the turtle stays in the tank you're fine. I think those with cats normally mention that the cats are curious about the turtles and are sometimes attracted to their basking lamp. So how you have that arranged might be your main concern.

Thank you! I saw a cute pic online with a cat basking next to a turtle, but yeah, would not want to press my luck with that.
