Last year my girls found a red eared slider in the yard it was about the size of a silver dollar. We put Sam in an aquarium and Sam is doing great! Now today, they found another one!! This one is about 1.5 inches and Sam is around 3 inches, can I put them in the same aquarium? Or will Sam kill Cat (the new turtles name)?

It's probably OK, though you want to make sure that the new one is healthy first. You should also check the yard for more. If there is a nearby pond, you would want to assist any to reach it and consider releasing the new one. Welcome to the forum!

The strange thing is there are no nearby ponds or creeks. We did look around for more and didnt find any. The new turtle is very active and seems to be in good health. So far they are doing okay together and usually the older turtle Sam is kinda shy and hides alot but now she comes out more.

Maybe a neighbor is keeping some? Does it still have a yolk sac or egg tooth? Glad to know they are doing well together. If one or both turn out to be males, you will likely have to find a way to keep them separated.
