Hi all, I haven't posted in, it seems for ever. But when you have school, work and a 7 month old daughter days can get a tad busy. The turtles are doing great. Toku is finishing up his shed for the summer. He has finally hit the 6 in. mark! It only took 5 yrs. Wow he will be 5 yrs old on Oct 18. Really no other updates for him. His weight is good and he loves to bask and swim around his tank looking for food.

Boba is doing good he is around 2 in. in length. He bask very early in the morning then swims for food before going into the sand and only sticking his head out for most of the day. Late in the afternoon he will come out of the sand to swim around his tank before his lights go out and returns to the sand for the night. As you can tell, softies love to bury in the sand. I particularly like when he is buried and sticks his nose out to barely penetrate the water surface to breath. I will try and get a measurement in the near future. He is pretty skittish and loves to use his long neck to reach my fingers with his tiny jaws. The one thing I haven't figured out is the curl in his shell. It hasn't gotten worse but hasn't improved either. I dropped his diet portions and provide lettuce for grazing daily. I don't know, it doesn't seem to be affecting him. He is active eats great (pellets, and frozen foods alternated daily between Reptomin pellets, bloodworms, beef heart, brine shrimp). Maybe as he grows it will flop down, but only time will tell. I'm not overly concerned about it, like I said he is acting perfectly normal for a softie. Hope everyone is doing well:)

I was able to measure Boba without being bitten. Although he did try to bite the ruler, lol. He is just over 2 in.
