Sometimes when I miss a day taking Raphael out of the tank she will try to stand up on her platform and reaches toward the top of the tank (using the suction cups to pull herself up) until someone takes her out. Is this normal?

Turtle can beg, but I've never heard of them begging to go outside. They might really want to go out if they are being harassed or are gravid (carrying eggs), but not as part of a routine.

You can feel for eggs if she's big enough. But it's not just wanting to get out when she's gravid... they are sort of in a zone when it happens.

I think she could be big enough for eggs, but I'm not sure this is the case. I think she's just an aggressive beggar.
