Cross breeding turtles

This is simply a hypothetical question. I have a baby Red Eared Slider Sharing a 20 Gallon tank with a Pink Belly Side Neck Hatchling. After 2 months of living together they are both deemed healthy (I own 5 turtles in total and take them to a vet twice a year) and seem to get along well. (no one seems to be biting or scratching eachother) and both are active and bask (including the Pink Belly, who I understood was more aquatic). So compatibility does not seem to be an issue.
Heres where the hypothetical comes in,
Assuming one is a male and the other female, would there be any chance of cross breeding between the two? I know Pink Belly Sidenecks are rarer and still lesser known (at least in my nation anyways) but does anyone know much about their breeding and this scenario? I would greatly appreciate any sources one could include. Cheers!
