HELP ME! I have two RES and one of them has a greyish outline around his shell. I've got the right tank and set up and he has uvb access! What can I do to help him?!

The greyish outline... hard to tell if something is wrong. Some of it does look like it's lifting up. Can you send a pic of it dry?

As long as it's not soft, hard, smells, or becomes white then it should be OK but to be honest, it looks like somethings going on. Does he bask often and have a UVB light?

Under close inspection, is it peeling or lifting? Is the grey below the scutes or over it?
