My aunt has this turtle since 30 years ago and though i havent been with him for a long amount of time im interested in caring for him, but i first want to know what kind of turtle this turtle is. I have some pictures of him and i would really appreciate if someone could help me please! thank u

Yes, it's a male RES who is melanistic (which is normal).
