How big do they get? And also what size tank do you need when he reaches full size?

I can't believe how cute he is.

Also if you don't mind my asking, feel free to not answer - but how much did she/he cost you?

Edit: Also, if there a "mini Tortoise". Something that doesn't require a huge vivarium?

I don't think there is a mini tortoise...Cherrhead RedFoots are one of the smallest out there and it's adult size maxes out at 30 cm. My cherryhead is TEMPORARILY kept in a (I think) a 15 gallon plastic container. When he gets big enough, he'll get a large rubbermaid container, and when he's adult I'm fencing off an area in my room for him to roam around in.

Pio, my Cherry head cost me $150. I got him on Kingsnake.com. I keep him in a virvarium, planted with moss and some little things he can eat. This Spring, I am building him a pen on the side of my house. But he will always come in for the winter, and he won't need anything bigger for at least 2 years. Today I am going to get a 40 gal breeder tank. It is wider and shorter than a regular tank. I think it will hold the humidity better also.
