It was a difficult decision, but Poe now has a new home. The good thing is, that he's with a good friend of mine and I know he'll be well taken care of. I also have visitation :) He was getting trampled and rammed by his brother and I also have a feeling he wasn't getting his share of the food. Dog had made several attempts to bite Poe's little head off so I thought I'd better do something before he got seriously hurt. Here he is in his new home, with his new parents. They had been looking for a box turtle for about a year so I know they've done their research.

Oooh I've always wanted to see a picture of Poe. Wow, yea he does have a  face.

Poor Poe! It's great that you separated them. I didn't know box turtles are as aggressive to their own species as RES.

Poe looks like he's in a good home!

Now Dog can get all the attention, hehe :D

I didn't realize boxies were so aggressive, or could be.
I'm glad both Poe and Dog have the privacy and space they want now :-)

That's good that you had a friend to take care of him. Send your friends this way so they can keep posting pics of the adorable guy!

I'll post pics as I get them. I just spoke to my friends last night and they said he's doing great. Eating like a champ. Dog seems happier too. :-)
