Havent gotten him yet but will be getting him today, paying 90$ for the tortoise, 60$ for a 70 gallon reptile tank off craigslist(barriering the sides so he doesnt stress him self looking out), a 100w heat light/lamp, 2 bricks of the dirt for him, hay, water bowl. thermometer, mister. Please tell me if there is anything else i need to buy. Also good tortoise names are accepted, s diet plan you have for your tortoises, also is accepted. And your setup info. is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Devon.

Im buying all supplies in a bit, the tank at 6, and the turtles around 7 when the tank is ready to go.

The only other thing you need is UVB lamp.

They eat cuttle bone and veggies. There alot more to the food.

tortoises still need a uvb bulb just like a turtle does. you shouls still give cuttle bone but they really need to have a uvb along with a heat lamp

You need a humidity gauge. They are super cheap and will tell you so much about your torts living conditions.
