Just out of curiosity, how do you distinguish between ornates and easterns? I ask because her shell looks just like Apollo's, especially in that second to last pic, and he's an Eastern.

See? So I'm wondering how you tell the difference!

Very close resemblence indeed. I figured Ornate because they seem to have less markings on their head/neck/front feet than easterns do.

You are right...it does look more like an Eastern. Look at the yellow line that goes down Nora (picture of my ornate) back, and at the markings. Nora is over 30 years old though. Maybe that is a young Ornate. I don't know but it doesn't look like my Ornate's markings.
