I use the Mazuri Tortoise diet for Izzy. Twice a week, and then I give worms, and any buggie thing I can find in the yard, and 1 day fruit and veggies chopped up and mixed. Izzy eats everything I put in her dish but loves the Mazuri day the best.

Thats what I thought too. Best price I found besides some weird auction site, where they wanted that price for a 5lb bag, but 1) I don't need that much 2) the site was sketchy looking.

Ok, well I'm not going to order from them, they wanted $22 to ship 1.5lbs of tort diet!

But this site sells 2.5lbs for $18, shipping included!!

My browser says the site has a Good reputation, so looks like ill order from their instead.

I was wondering that myself. It's not like it wouldn't sell.

I'm not sure either. probably because it is more expensive and harder to get? and its not the most mainstream of foods to find, sure its high quality, but even finding it on the web can be sort of difficult.

I'm sure if I asked my LFS to get me some Mazuri, or told them they should stock it, they would probably do it.

Mine has offered to order some for us. So I guess it isn't impossible. Is it a relatively new product?

Read this thread by Ed, a well know tortoiose breeder. He posts on another forum, and I found out about Mazuri from him. He also just wrote and published a book.."Sulcata and Leopard Tortoises", by E.J. Pirog

Just to be clear, he is saying that the Mazuri Tortoise Diet is awesome, but he is only talking about the tortoise food, not the pellets for aquatic turtles, right?
Although you would think that Mazuri must be doing something right with the tortoise food so the other pellet food should be good quality as well.
