Long story made short...I tried to purchase a three toes hatchling frome someone on Kingsnake and after sending my money order the person kept giving me some story or another why he couldn't send it. I posted this on another forum, and every one there rallied round me and one person was a lawyer and called him and sent him certified letters and had the police at his door. He lived in another state and I couldn't do anything from where I am, but this guy really helped me a lot. Anyway...after much threatening...he finally sent me my money back. This boxie was supposed to be for my grandson, and there is a lady on that forum, who was kind enough to send me a little year old Eastern Boxie. My grandson named him Chewy (after Chewbacca from star wars). So here's Chewy. Did you ever see eyes like that on a boxie? I never did. He almost looks like a Black Leaf box turtle. I am interested to know if any one has a boxie with eyes like that one. The woman who sent him to me said his father has the same eyes. This is him in his vivarium I made for him. He is absolutely the most beautiful boxie I have ever seen.

Yep, I've seen it before. Not sure how 'normal' it is. Mine had this permanent look of surprise. It's really kind of cute :-)

Does it seem like he can see what's going on around him?
