Since there is no pictures in here yet. I thought I would share some pictures of the boxies we found over the summer. We took their pictures and then let them go.

This is the first one we found.

This guy was so dirty we had to give him a little bath.

We found this guy when we went camping for the 4th.

This is the last one for found for the year.

Oh yeah here is a soft shell we found in the river. I am hoping that this coming summer we can find another one of these guys. They are so funny looking. I wish I had a better picture. Steven took this with his cell phone.

beautiful critters! I'm not a pro at this by any means (just got my first boxie a month ago) but I'm guessing they're all easterns. I hope mine becomes as colorful.

I posted a few in the photo section a while back but I have yet to get some decent close-ups. When we move I'm going to post pics of our 'reptile room'

They are definitely some interesting turts to interact with. Are they as outgoing as your RES?

The one that we gave a bath and the last boxie. Were not afraid of us at all. The other two were. They are definitely different. But I don't think we want one as a pet. We just love our RES's.

I know this is an old thread but couldnt help but say how cooool! Those turts look like they could bite your hand off dont they...and the soft shell looks like a overgrown slug like turt...?! lol Pretty awesome what U did though! Wish there were more caring people out there like you!!!! (Im sure there are, but we see tooooo many dead turts on the sides of our roads, especially after the rains...)
