Hello, I just signed up, I have two RES turtles, Spots and Mr.Turtles

I have had my red ear slider for almost a year , my girlfriend found her in my local lake ,at that time she was a little bigger than a half of dollar ,man do they grow , i thought she was a boy at first so we name her Bowser . Well after setting her up an doing all my homework, I found out he was a she but the name still stuck and she also responds somewhat to it . Well that's my r.e.s. name Bowser an now she is about 4 1/2 inches long . My only problem that i notice is she still will jump back in the water when i see her basking under the sun lamp ,i don't know how to change that behavior - ANY IDEAS ??? THAX !!!

I just joined, I had a RES when I was younger named Takashi. I currently have a RES named Squirtle (of course). I am looking to getting another one once I have finished renovating Squirtle's larger tank. And I already have a name picked out.....Egg Roll !!

It took me two days to name mine but I finally settled on Sakamoto (Saka for short). It's after one of my favorite animes. =P and I think it's cute regardless. Haha!
