My name is Melissa I am 31, my husband and I have 2 kids a 13 yr. old, a 3 yr old and one on the way. We just brougt home a small RES which we have had for one day now. Our RES was bought for our 3 yr old son but soon realized that it is not a pet for a 3 yr old. I know nothing about our new RES but have learned alot so far. I hope to learn a lot more from everyone here.

Welcome to the forum! I think it's wonderful that you realized this is an adult pet and are wanting to do right by it. The site has great information and the forum people are helpful and friendly.
