We just acquired a new (rescue) turtle and I have questions, which I will post in the care forum. I think he's a Red Ear, except he has no red on his head. But he looks like some of the pictures I've seen on here and not every turtle pictured on this site has the red ears.
Very new to this turtle thing. I have had African Clawed Frogs in the past and they were very easy. But they didn't interact with us the way the turtle does. He's curious and friendly and whistles through his nose when he's excited.
We are still trying to figure out his name.
