Is there any other unusual activity/symptoms?
Family friends were moving so they brought their turtle over last week. Both eyes were swollen shut, no appetite. I read it could have been vitamin A deficiency so I bought Cod Liver Oil capsules and squeezed the contents onto his eyes twice a day. The very next day his left I was open with no visible sign of infection. His right eye is still puffy but was able to open slightly. I continued treatment from Weds twice a day. I woke up today to find a large mass on the left side of his neck but his right eye was much better . The lumo is not inflamed but does not look like an ear infection. Pic attached. It's the weekend and the vet isn't around until Monday. Any suggestions?

It looks like an ear abscess. It can affect the eyes (make them swollen) and cause swimming problems.

Admittedly, it is a bit higher than most but, abscesses can't be treated at home.
If there are no problems with swimming, then just ride it out until the vet is in. If there are problems with swimming, then it might be a good idea to dry dock or place in shallow water until you can get to the vet.

Thanks, Penelope. He has no issues swimming so we'll take him to the vet tomorrow. Hoping that the local vet works on turtles.
