Dear all,
My turtle is getting a strange behaviour lately and I'm getting a bit worry. It starts to bite it's own hands. It is something to do with water?
Thanks for your help in advance.

Aside from providing the info, is your turtle shedding skin?
How often and how long has he been doing this?
What do you feed your turtle?

I have noticed mine nibbling at their front legs/paws but not often. It is like me scratching my head once and a while. If it is constant there may be something uncomfortable on that leg. Is it just one leg or both?

baby box turtles often bite their front legs while eating... "ooo, a worm!!! ow..." I'm not sure if baby RES do it?
