one of my turtle eggs crack

hello i have 2 turtle eggs in my bucket the dirt is top soil one been in there for 2 weeks other about a week i went to check on the and pick one up and as i pick it up i accidently tared it open i just wanna know if ppl can tell if the eggs are fertile or not i am new to this and only 16 i need to know what to do with the one egg cuz the soil is all dry up and hard please help thanks

You are not supposed to pick it up.

You can't pick it up you should just wait for it to hatch, and did the your turtles mate? If not, then it isn't fertile.

A female can mate and the egg won't be fertile. It does happen.

Egg defiantly had nothing growing in it. If the soil dried up on the other one, you were supposed to keep it moist and humidity up. Im gonna just go ahead and say that egg is most likely done for too.

hey yes it did have a tiny turtle embro in it but i need to know how to keep the soil moist without harming the egg i am getting a incubator later today if someone can please tell me how also i got alot of containers where they put the baby turtles in should i use it??

Just use a mister and mist the soil. Yes use a container for the eggs. It helps hold humidity in.
