Hi. I got my RES about 1.5 months ago. After 3 weeks, it started having some white spots like the picture on the top (the one against the white background). I have since started to clean the shell and tank more and provided better basking spots. It is currently in the state as shown by the picture on the btm (the one in the transclucent tank). Is this a sign of recovery? The white spots seems to be fading but its covering a wider area. I am very worried please help, is there any way for me to cure this?

I clean my tank once every 5 days and I have a tank filter.
I have 1 terrapin and its 6cm.
I used a UV light meant for terrapins specially bought from a certified pet store with a basking rock.

Looks more like shell fungus. I'd need a closer pic of the shell dry to confirm, but search the forum and you can find lots of pics to compare with. Fairly treatable at an early stage like this as well.
