So my RES Crush decided to eat a hair. before I could get to it, he had already gobbled it up. The next day I noticed the hair sticking out of his butt. I pulled a little at first but figured it's best to just cut it and let him pass it. Today I noticed that it looks like both ends of the hair are sticking out, or there's more than one hair. I'm afraid that if it's one hair and both ends are sticking out of his butt, that it may be tangled inside him. He ate the hair Tuesday and it is now Thursday. Should I be concerned? How much longer should I give it until he needs to be seen by the vet?

Yikes! Was this a really long strand? I would wait a little longer, but keep your vet info handy when you need to make an appointment.
