Hi guys, I'm new to the turtle world. I got my RES three days ago and I've tried to get him to eat but he just won't. Temperature for the water has been 70-85 F. Also, he's been holding opening his mouth underwater and I don't know if that's normal.
PLS HELP. I'm a worried parent. :(

Hi, the water temperature should not vary that greatly. What kinds of food have you tried? Live prey (minnows) work really well. I'd also suggest a soak in a small container with warm water, some Pedialyte, and add in some crumbled up pellets.
