Hey all this is my first post we have 2 RES turtles. Franklin (9years) and Raphael (6years) they are both homed in a 120 gallon happy tank. Recently (today) we noticed that Franklin has some flakes skin coming off his neck. No other change in behavior or habits or habitat. Wondering if we should be overly concerned? Thanks. will try to post a picture once a figure it out.

A pic will help. If it's thin, translucent and wispy, then it's normal skin shedding. However, turtles like to attack around the neck area, so you might be dealing with that situation.

They do fight sometimes but typically Franklin is the most aggressive one. So it is a little odd that he is the one with the issue.
Thanks!

Yes, I think those are from bites. It will likely escalate between them, I would recommend separating them. Franklin also looks to have some fungus on his shell.
