Hello,
New here.
My female red eared slider, 12 years old is peeing white stuffs lately which is somewhat similar to urates in tortoises.
However I wanted to know is it uncommon in turtles?
If yes, please help and suggest a way to prevent it.
Diet is mostly commercial pellets and to balance the protein I put in some boiled sweet potatoes.

Not really common. Any chance you have a male? Any other symptoms?

Yes I do, and he doesn't have the same symptoms.
She occasionally pees white stuff which hardens like mineral deposits later.

Are they kept together? How much sweet potatoes does she get? It sounds like it could be remnants of egg production, but it could be a long shot.
