sorry for your loss,wonder what he had? when you get the set up ready read all the stickys and b sure you have all bases covered for the new pet theres loads of gooooood information posted here. good luck :lol:

Very sorry to hear about your turtle (BTW, by bacterial culture, I meant of the turtle, not the water. It could have determined if and what kind of infection he had.) Before putting your new turt in the tank, I'd clean/disinfect it (you could use 2 oz of bleach to a gallon of water) and rinse really well afterward. Also clean anything that will be used with the new turtle. Good luck.
