Is my turtle Normal?

okay so heres the situation, i have 3 RES and i was wondering if one of them is sick or something, its been sitting on its rock for about a day and havent gone into the water. Ever since i got him or saw him hes been sitting on that rock and barely goes into the water. It keeps his eyes closed all the time but it moves when u touch him, I think it worsened today but it still responds to touch.

How big is your turtle? about a inch
How long have you had it? 2 weeks

What is the water temperature? 26-28 degrees celcius
Are you using a water heater? yes
How much water is in there? around 8 or 9 gallons
Are you using a water conditioner? yes, but only a little
Are you using any filtration? yep

What is the basking temperature? rougly the same temp as the water
Is there a basking light? yes
Is there a basking platform that is easy to climb on? yes
What kind is it or what is it made out of? plastic im guessing, it floats
Is there a UVB light? yea

What have you been trying to feed it? some small shrimps and turtle food
When was the last time your turtle ate? 2 days ago

How big is the tank/pond/enclosure? around 15 gallons big
Is the tank near a window? no
Is the tank in a room with a lot of activity? no

Have you read the Basic Care section? yea
Have you searched the forums for similar situations? no not yet

Is there any other unusual activity/symptoms? nope

You should separate them, and try to get him to eat. Offer as much privacy and do not handle him unless necessary.

wat should i do to seperate them? because all i have is one tank and one heater so i dunno wat to do to seperate them

If you think one is sick... he must be kept apart.

Perhaps you can find a 10 gallon rubbermaid container (no more than 8$) and go to your nearest walmart and purchase a water heater (no more than 15$) either make or buy a dock(10$),and take turns with the basking UVB/UVA basking lamps.That extra equipment can be useful in the future if they get sick again.

Also, keep in mind if your turtle is sick you will need to take it to a vet,when turtles are sick they dont get better overtime.A vet maybe his only shot at living if he is sick.

k, i have currently kept it away from the others by putting it into a rubber maid container, but it still hasnt been eating, im thinking of taking it to the vet to get it checked out. Thanks for all your help

As always, a trip to a herp vet is always the best thing to do. Make sure to look at the stickies under Urgent Care for reputable vet lists. Also, the tank needs to be larger and the basking temperature should be raised.

um, my turtle seems to exert some force of motion now, but im not sure is that normal, please post back asap, i dunno wat to do and im scared outta my head, no vets are opened (believe me ive tried) please help me!

Hmmm,moving? Maybe he's breathing.Is they're like a sac on his neck and it appears to be moving realy steady? If so,he's just breathing.

realy steady, but normally he doesnt move this way, im just really really concerned.

Relax man,things are going to be OK.He is probably just breathing,nothing to worry about and tottally normal.

thank you so much, i feel much better now but im still concerned about his health and the fact he hasn't been eating, ive tried everything that i have in my house ( that turtles can eat, like salmon and tuna and stuff, i read the food page thing) but he hasnt been eating
