Giving Medication Shots?
Posted: Mon Apr 23, 2007 8:25 pmI'm a little nervous of giving my turtle antibotic shots...I tried to do it..but seems like the skin is really thick...

Posted: Mon Apr 23, 2007 9:27 pmI had the same reaction when I had to give my turtle shots for an RI. If you aim between the "scales" on the turtles arm and give a little pressure, the needle pops under the skin and you can give the injection-- it just takes some getting used to.
But, the resistance is normal, don't worry about it. I hope your turtle feels better!
