I doubt it's a turtle egg but I found it in my pond just now.

Looks like it is. It may have been accidentally broken or partially eaten by a turtle. Does your turtle have a spot to get out into a sandy/soil area to lay the eggs properly?

Unfortunetly not.

But what I found weird is that I have one female, that's it, no turtle to fertilize the egg, yet their was a large (developed) yellow mass inside the egg.

Turtles will lay eggs even if there is no male present, like chickens.

You'll need to take her out somewhere that there is a place for her to dig. She probably has more eggs that are ready to lay. If she doesn't lay them, the could become burst inside her, or become calcified. Both of these situations require surgery, and often have a low survival rate. Not a lot of time. If she has already laid one in the water that means she's getting desperate. Please take her out soon and often. A good sign that she wants to lay is that she is trying to escape by any means possible.

Well I took her out today, she didn't lay any eggs, and wasn't very active, she just sat their. And she hasn't been trying to escape the pond today. She was probably just scared or she only had one little egg in her whole clutch.

You need to find a goodly amount of soil in a private place--6-12 inches deep. It JUST took Lilly about 2 hours or 2 1/2 hours of milling about, and then digging, to lay hers. GOOD LUCK.
